Africa Safari South Serengeti - Camp Site

4.0* Hotel

Close to Lake Ndutu, famous for the Great Migration of the wildebeest

Your Travel Experience with Beach Safari

Africa Safari South Serengeti is perfectly situated within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with convenient access to the Crater, and on the south side of Lake Ndutu, just outside the Serengeti National Park.

This area is famous for the calving season of the Great Migration, an absolute highlight of the annual wildebeest migration. The short rains in November and December create nutrient-rich pastures for the wildebeest, which remain in the vicinity until the end of the long rains and most calves are born in January and February. Whilst the open grassy plains offer them some safety, these young wildebeest attract hungry predators, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. The area around Lake Ndutu is also famous for being home to 6 species of big cats (lion, cheetah, leopard, serval, African wild cat, and caracal) which are present throughout the year.

For a traditional and budget-friendly stay, the property features 5 Safari Tents that capture the classic spirit of the bush. These accommodations offer an authentic "under canvas" experience, providing a simple and comfortable base for your adventures while utilizing shared toilet and shower facilities.
